Fine particular matter(PM2.5),with an aerodynamic diameter less than 2.5 μm,is the major component of haze weather.It has many adverse effects on human health.Respiratory system is an important target organs in causing harmful effects on human being of PM2.5.In this review,epidemiological studies,animal experiments as well as cell researches on PM2.5 and lung will be summarized.Research advancement will be disscussed on the adverse effects of PM2.5 on respiratory system. |
