| Senile cardiomyopathy can be categorized as the primary and secondary types,and results in varied phenotypes including dilated,hypertrophic and restrictive patterns.The etiology of cardiomyopathy may be genetic,acquired and mixed.Strengthening the screening of pathogenic genes and the control of risk factors will greatly improve the prognosis of patients. |
