| This paper introduces the origin and background of the 4M Framework and describes in detail its four components,namely "What Matters""Medication""Mind" and "Mobility".The paper analyzes the current situation and challenges of elderly care in China,including the pressure brought by the growth of the elderly population and the deficiencies of the current health system.It explores the implications of the 4M Framework for improving China′s elderly care policies and practices,especially in the formulation of comprehensive health management policies,the improvement of the existing care system,and the application in the training of medical staff.Building an elderly-friendly health system not only helps to address the challenges brought about by aging but also provides better health protection and quality of life for the elderly in China. |
