Sarcopenia is a degenerative syndrome characterised by loss of skeletal muscle mass, reduced strength and reduced function.Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients often suffer from sarcopenia due to protein metabolism disorders, resulting in decreased physical function and quality of life, increased risk of falls, bone fractures, hospitalization and mortality, and increased medical and economic burdens on families and society.Currently, exercise intervention has been proved to be an effective treatment for CKD combined with sarcopenia. This paper provides a review of recent research on exercise intervention for CKD.It summarizes the impacts of resistance training, aerobic training, combined resistance and aerobic training, balance training,whole-body vibration training, and traditional Chinese exercises on aspects such as physical function, exercise capacity, and quality of life in patients with sarcopenia and CKD.The purpose of this study is to provide a theoretical reference for the research and clinical practice on the prevention and treatment of sarcopenia in patients with chronic kidney disease.
